Welcome to #take2oblamy. Long before there were drawings for this Toronto home, there was an exchange of inspiration photos and ideas with the homeowner. Take 2 quickly became an integral part of this project as we reviewed and provided feedback on drawings and construction contracts, as well as providing a clear vision forward when it came to finishes. With the clients trust firmly secured, we embarked on the selection process for this home, designed numerous custom spaces, drafted up all of the required construction documentation for the trades to keep things running smoothly, and were a part of the weekly site visits for the duration of the project. Take 2’s design team worked tirelessly on providing the client with renderings for selected spaces in the house that showed them exactly what we had in mind for their timelessly modern home. Our client is deeply passionate about magic, and we wanted to ensure that we captured that passion in our design. Throughout this process, this home affectionately became known as “The Magic House”. This project proves that thoughtful, custom design is all about the materials you choose and how they come together to tell a cohesive and magical story.
